1. About this service
These terms apply when you use a venue's guest WiFi through Ethkm. The venue provides the network and Ethkm provides the sign-in and access-management service. By requesting access and accepting these terms, you agree to follow them.
Guest WiFi is offered as a convenience. It may be limited, interrupted, or withdrawn when needed for security, maintenance, capacity, or venue operations.
2. Signing in
The venue may ask you to verify a phone number and may offer Facebook sign-in. You must provide information you are allowed to use and must not impersonate another person. Following a venue's social page is optional and is not required to receive internet access.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the network for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Do not interfere with the network, its security, other guests, or connected devices.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, session limits, or technical restrictions.
- Do not distribute malware, send spam, or access content in a way that violates another person's rights.
- Follow applicable law and any reasonable instructions displayed by the venue.
4. Your device and security
Guest WiFi is a shared network. You are responsible for your device, software, accounts, and the information you send. Use secure websites and services, keep your device updated, and avoid transmitting sensitive information unless you have appropriate protection.
5. Sessions and enforcement
The venue may set session duration, bandwidth, device, or usage limits. Access may be disconnected or blocked if a session expires, these terms are breached, or continued access presents a security or operational risk.
6. Availability and responsibility
The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, the venue and Ethkm do not guarantee speed, coverage, uninterrupted access, compatibility, or that the network will be free from every security risk. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Privacy and changes
The Privacy Notice explains how information is handled. These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The version shown when you sign in applies to that access request.
